I hope to complete the Seven Summits eventually. The high price and finding the time are the main challenges. Mt Vinson and Everest are popularised objetives that have lost a lot of their mystery. I wonder if it is not for challenge sake but another form of consumerism for the western elite.  Nevertheless its good to dream.

Attempt something which you don't know you can achieve...

A coast to coast crossing of Greenland across its Icecap  ... or ascending the East ridge of Mount Logan are more inspiring objectives for me.

  • Denali  6194m, 21 July 2004, First on summit on summer solstice.
  • Kilimanjaro, just to Gilmans Point 5685m on Sarah's first climb, Aug 2007
  • Elbrus 5642m, 18 Aug 2005 (ascent on foot  from the Barrels hut).

  • Pointe d'Percee- North Buttress VI+/A1 with Laurent Cesalli.
  • Mount Blanc - Solo ascent pre season (May 2005)- Dome D Goutier. 3000m ascent in 2 days.
  • Aig Chardonnet North Buttress D+ probably only ascent of this route in 2003 due to conditions.
  • Lenspitze NE Face
  • Tofana Di Roses - Piller Rib (VI-) in 4.5 hours
  • Dri Zinnen - Dulfer (V)
  • Hitilicht (-V) on the Dri Horlini in March
  • Lagginorn, Allinhorn, Wiessmiess, Nadelhorn
